I studied Art and Graphic Design in St.Gallen, Switzerland in the 70's, a time when computer graphics was in its infancy and for most students non existent. Much of my work was done manually, 'cut and paste' was meant quite literally and 'mockups' required creative manual skill and imagination.

After working for some years as a Graphic Designer,

I increasingly followed my love for painting, drawing and illustrating. I have a passion for colour and light in all its shades and intensities.

Currently I'm creating much of my artwork digitally and enjoy developing my skills as an illustrator and designer.

 

When commissioned to create artwork, I want to understand the story and the feelings behind a project so that the end result can express these emotions in a strong yet intimate way.

 I love a design challenge and passionately believe that whatever it is we set our mind to, there is a way to achieve it and to do so in an exciting and beautiful way.
